ANNN HATHAWAY OSCAR DRESSES

 at the OSCARS  ....ANN HATHAWAY...was stunning in her many dresses and hairstyles  ....... her stylist did a great job, she looked fabulous ....

JENNIFER ANNISTON... NEW BOB CUT.

Jennifer, has cut her hair into a mid-length bob, with a little less texture than her signature (Rachel) haircut. This cut is still versatile , and soft.... but you can still wear it flat iron straight , or wave it softly.
  Her hair color is still on the blonde side but with a natural look. Personally , I would have added a few more low lights for a softer look. This color seems a little harsh  and overdone . She is getting older and needs a color that is more flattering to her features.

THE OSCARS

The stars looked great this year, long , medium ,or short . They all looked great , elegant ...
My only issue was with  Scarlet Johannsens Hair , it looked messy and did not fit her cut.
Overall, we can see the trend  in hair is heading for a softer , elegant, feminine, and healthy look.

BAD HAIR DAY

Theresa is having a really bad hair day..
If only she would have used a little less hair spray and taken it easy on the curling iron. She would have had a better hold on her temper.
As far as hair products go....less is more ladies....less is more...

LINDSEY LOHAN MAKEOVERS

Lindsey is really good at choosing different looks, yet she still can't find herself.
No matter what style you choose , choose the one that is authentic to your personality and lifestyle.
Go with a look that will reflect your true self and make you feel good about who you are. But , always remember that your hair has limitations and changing it often with different chemical services can wreck havoc .  Be gentile and loving with your locks.....

Gaddafi Makeover

THIS GUY NEEDS A MAKEOVER....The hat and glasses really need to go.. A nice haircut would also help as long as it is not too short , his face is way too fat and dough like.
A product like Barex Hairgomine would be my choice to finish.
  At any rate, He has vowed to die rather than give up power , so probably a haircut / makeover would be the least of his problems. Maybe the Ukranian nurse  will need hair help??? 

CLASSIC BOB..

The BOB is one of those cuts that is timeless and classic.. A BOB can be cut to fit almost any type of hair and fit almost any lifestyle.  It can be curly , straight, wavy, lots of texture, and with or without bangs(fringe) ....It can be cut to a very clean line or cut to have a shattered look , much like Victoria Beckams new look.
It is also very easy to personalize this cut with color , whether you like bold or just a hint of a highlight.
Bob's are easy to maintain as well as requiring very little style time. A BOB is a very easy makeover change.

HAIR RELAXING BALM

This is one of my favorite relaxing balms, Phyto was one of the first Botanical hair lines to come up with a really good relaxing balm.. Light scent, and not tacky, or sticky.
This French line is awesome.
Great for the person that wants a Botanical product , without the strong scent of some other product lines. Their shampoo line is also excellent and is packaged in beautiful glass bottles.

TAME THAT CURL

This is the Flat Iron that does the job, It heats to 400 degrees, and will get your curl straight, but leave your hair bouncy and shiny.
For best results ,  apply  a flat iron product on damp hair ,blow out with paddle brush, then part into small sections and proceed with flat iron.  Finish with spray shine...

LONG CURLY HAIR

This Re-Define creme by Barex Italiana , is one of my favorite products for curl definition ,  use  a small amount on damp hair  before styling ,  Re-define creme ... leaves the curl shiny , bouncy, and with perfect form.
Always remember less is more, when using hair styling products.

BLONDES :    Big stripes are so out..
Better to have very natural looking shades of  honey, and caramel, placed lightly to complement and enhance your own natural hair color. You do not want to overdo the highlights or lowlights, so that you end up with a high upkeep color and overshadow your own natural color.

BRUNETTES :  Think...rich shades of chocolate, caramel, warm sable.... add tiny shades of warmth to complement your color..

REDHEADS :   Reds need to shine and be full of fire....be rich in color and have a natural look.. avoid flat, dusty, and orange color. Intense crimson is a good choice...its striking and dimensional.

While trendy cuts are always fun, they are not always the best choice.  Pick a hair cut , that is easy ,  flattering to you, that you can always feel your best... with minimal time.
  
 You want your haircut to make you feel great and be you. If you feel good it will show.
Too many times people pick wrong styles....thus too many bad hair day's.

Cut out pictures and show your hairdresser looks you like , do not like..etc....together come up with  a haircut , style....that will be your best new look..

HAIR & STYLE.... Mad men is one of my favorite programs that I watch, just for the style of the 50's...... both the hair and fashion are awesome. Also the series is well written.. i am waiting for blu-ray, season 4. This series is both nostalgic and inspiring.

MY MOVIE PICK FOR FEBUARY : this movie is in French with subtitles, but it is easy to follow and the lead character is both funny and eccentric.
 It  is a sad but endearing love story. Funny scenes and sad ones too. Old movie but a classic ....

MOUSEE...Again Sebastian wins this one with Mousse forte... a strong hold mousse that is easy to work with but not tacky or stiff.

BALAYAGE

Balayage...is  a French method of hair coloring that means.. to sweep.
This  is probably one of the most creative methods of highlighting ...lowlighting.. as the hairdresser , takes a brush and paints the color on the hair as he or she envisions the color.
This allows both of you to be as creative as you want to be.  However, as easy as it looks Balayage is not easy to master .. so your hairdresser should have plenty of practice before he gets into your hair..So  think outside the box...and sweep color into your beautiful hair.
